If you are not acquainted with Burk Parsons’ Assured By God, then allow me to introduce it to you. It was featured in Table Talk Magazine, by R.C. Sproul, who endorses it. And rightly so, for it’s a great read, very informative, and of course he is a contributor to the book (writing the forward and epilogue).
Other bloggers give great book reviews (i.e. Tim Challies,), and some do it for a living, but I am a rookie looking to grow some. However I thought that this would be best arranged by doing chapter reviews instead of the entire book. The reason is because each chapter is writen by a different author. This makes for different writing styles and different tones although the subject (Assurance) is the same. As we look ahead to next week I will spend some time giving some chapter reviews, but for now, here are the chapter titles and authors…

Do a really good job, and I won’t have to read it, okay?
